Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled) or mixed berries
- 1 cup fresh orange juice (preferably no added sugar)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/2 cup water
- A few mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Blend: Combine the berries, orange juice, lemon juice, water, and honey/agave (if using) in a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother sorbet, strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove seeds.
- Chill: Pour the mixture into a shallow container. Freeze for 1–2 hours, stirring with a fork every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals.
- Final Freeze: After the last stir, let it freeze fully until firm (about 2–3 more hours).
- Serve: Scoop into bowls and garnish with mint leaves if desired!
